Guitar Lessons by Ear

Hey, I found a site the other day about playing the guitar by ear that is pretty darned cool. I’d tried to learn in the past, but this site makes it seem easy now! Check it out at:

I’m From Another Planet

Talking with a friend the other day, who I have talked with before and was talking with them then about my personal philosophies and they they told me that my perspectives were so strange or odd that they said it’s like I was from another planet! Yes, “another planet.” Wow.

Troops are Coming Home

Well, President Obama has announced a plan to withdrawal a bunch of troops from Afghanistan over the next year. Check out the YouTube “Address to the Nation.”

Is President Obama even real? I’m listening to hir speach and ze doesn’t even seem real to me. I’m not sure why. I’m just laughing at it. What does this really mean? Is Obama a comedian? I think ze is. Ze’s not even being real.

I think maybe it’s because after so many years of Bush, saying, “Terrorist, Osama Bin Laden, Terrorist, 9-11, Osama Bin Laden, Troops, Safe-haven, Terrorist, Osama Bin Laden….” that now having Obama up there saying the same thing, but now in a different way, it just seems like they’re joking with us. They aren’t even being real with us. It’s so totally hilarious. I’m not even sure now if I even believe them that they are saying “we” have troops in Afghanistan. Who are “we” anyway? What’s Afghanistan? That’s a country? What’s a country? It’s a joke. I want to actually keep watching though because it’s so funny!!!!

I’m just waiting and waiting with baited breath for hir to just start jumping around like a monkey for a few minutes around the room there and then speak back into the mic and say, “I’m actually just kidding. Would anyone like some milk and cookies?”

Ze is simply hilarious!!!!!!! Hilarious! Hilarious. Hilarious!

Maybe that’s what this is about, the U.S. presidency is actually about replaying and replaying the meme of an organized morality, it is a way for us to reflect on it and process it in the midst of it’s complete loss and dissolution in the digital landscape.

I watched a recent clip, also, about how the New York Times is having to deal with this loss and dissolution of organized morality in the digital landscape too.

Some are calling it as a world becoming more democratic/egalitarian — but that’s not even it either, it’s actually the breaking down of everything moral except for the self.

What is Even More Shocking

What is even more shocking is that there are people that still actually believe that countries exist! Can you believe that? That doesn’t even sound real. Countries? What’s that?

At this point, all I can do is Praise “Bob” for finally coming to see the truth of it all.

This Month’s Superman

I wandered down to Funny Business this weekend, to pick up this month’s edition of Superman (#712) and shockingly the Straczynski’s “Grounded” series was postponed a month and they filled in the series with an issue of Superman from a bunch of years back featuring Krypto the Superdog. Also, this was an image heavy edition. I love character dialogue a lot, so it didn’t really paint my fence so much.

On another note, I have been collecting several DC comics for a year now and am finding it rather rewarding to go back and read the series’ from beginning to end. It’s kinda cool, like rewatching a movie, but on paper!!!!

I must confess, I rarely ever drink coffee. I’m a black tea drinker to pep me up with caffeine when needed, but I really wanted an extra jolt this week and engaged in some coffee drinking to kick me into some high gear and wow, it worked! Coffee is some darned potent stuff. It kinda gets my whole body feeling strangely irritated to the point that it really gets one going – getting me feeling achy, and jilty. A strange sensation to say the least.

Though now, I must say that I’m glad to be back drinking the tea, it’s far less crazy feeling for me.

Taking Flight

OMG! And I saw the super coolest blog the other day. It’s someone who takes pictures of people leaping into the air such that the pictures look like the people are levitating or flying! Check it out at:
